Q: What size area do I need for the Petting Zoo?
A: We can set-up your zoo just about any size area will do! It can be as big as 20 feet by 30 feet... round, square, L shape, long and narrow... what fits your area best. Smaller areas are ok too we size to fit. The zoo fencing holds all our animals and about 20 kids comfortably at one time.
Q: Where can the petting zoo be set-up?
A:I know the animals prefer grass... and so do we, but we can set-up on a drive-way, on dirt, rock, a parking lot. Providing its not to hot for their feet.
Q: What do I do to prepare for the zoo?
A: Nothing! When we arrive, show us the spot you would like your zoo. We set-up, keep the zoo clean the whole time we are there, help the kids interact with all the animals, and then be sure everything is clean the way it was before we arrived.
Q: Will the animals eat my grass or vegetation?
A: The animals may nibble here and there but not enough to hurt any of your plants or the grass.
Q: What do the ponies and farm animals do when they are not
working?
A:The ponies and farm animals actually spend more time relaxing than working. At home they kick back and just do their thing... the goats play and graze, the ponies all hang out in the pasture, the chickens work on finding the biggest and best bugs, the bunnies groom one another and eat carrots, the piggies lay in the sun, and the ducks busily travel around the pond looking for bugs and food before they go for a swim in the pond.
Q: What if the pony poops?
A: A definite possibility because after all they are animals. But don't worry we quickly scoop the poop and take it with us to dispose of it in my garden. The good news is that the poop does not permanantly stain your driveways, sidewalks or other walking paths. Pour bleach on it and wash it off and it should be like it was.
Q. What type of payment is accepted?
A. Cash, Credit Card or U.S.P. Money Order.
Q. Is a deposit required?
A. Yes, we require a 50% deposit.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We require a 48 hour notice for cancellation. We offer a cancellation waiver which is 10% of your total invoice. The waiver protects you in case your into the 48 hour period prior to your event and have to cancel. With the waiver you are released from the contract and have the option to reschedule your party. With the waiver we will apply your deposit to your rescheduled party and the waiver will also apply. We do not refund deposits. You must have your party within a year of orginal party date for this to apply.
If you choose not to take the cancellation waiver.
We use the 50% deposit to hold your time slot and allow us to plan appropriately for staffing. Please give us at least 48 hours notice should you need to cancel a reservation. Less than 48 hours notice will forfeit your deposit and will not be applied to a rescheduled party.
